The next Bristol HubSpot User Group (HUG) is on Tuesday 4th December and, if you’re interested to why ChatBots are the future and how you can use them on your site, your attendance (to this free event, complete with food, drink and LEGO Robot Wars) is essential.
Bots aren’t just a thing of the future: according to HubSpot, 63% of people don’t realise they’re already using artificial intelligence technologies. Yep, that’s right, AI isn’t just Sophia the Robot – it’s in our voice search and on sites we use every day in the form of ChatBots.
These ChatBots can be incredibly useful for all kinds of businesses, customisable for queries and able to direct website visitors to the information they’re looking for.
Stephen Fuery, a Principal Implementation Specialist at HubSpot, will be giving a talk about how you can use ChatBots at the event. He's answered some key questions you need to have in mind ahead of Bristol HUG.
Stephen: A ChatBot is a computer program that is designed to simulate human conversation using a chat room or auditory method. In most cases the creator's aim is to simulate being a human as much as possible.
Stephen: ChatBots are first and foremost available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means that they are not reliant on a business’ sales, service or support team being available to answer queries. Because of this, a business can offer customers a wider range of self service options thus enabling the business to provide a wider range of options to leads.
This, combined with the capability of the bot to offer elements of the conversion path, allows the ChatBot to have a direct impact on conversion rates. The primary benefit of HubSpot Bots is their integration into the HubSpot CRM which enables the bot to have more contextual conversations with end users.
Stephen: The best bots provide the user with a great experience and solve their problem. Marketers should consider building a bot that has multiple capabilities which offer customers or leads a wider choice in terms of their needs. This in turn directly encourages habitual use of the bot and can have a direct impact on the number of queries being directed to the business. As a result of this, the business can not only provide a better service, but can also save money in terms of staff efficiencies
If you want to get ahead of your competitors and find out how to implement Chat Bots into your digital marketing strategy, come along to the next Bristol HUG on Tuesday 4th December.
