      Calling all marketing superstars looking for a flexible part time role!  Bristol’s brightest digital marketing agency is looking for that special someone to drive forward our marketing.  This is a fantastic role for someone who loves all things web and social.  It's an internal marketing role, but you will be part of a larger delivery team who are all doing something very similar for our clients, so there will always be someone you can turn to for help and support.

      The role has two elements:  giving greater shape and strategy to our existing marketing plus hands on delivery, which might include delegating tasks to the team and freelancers.  In other words we are looking for someone confident with both strategy and tactics. 

      This is a 0.5 fte part time role and initially on a 6 month contract, but everything is up for discussion.  This is the perfect role for a freelancer looking to add stability into their lives or someone juggling family or caring commitments.

      Key responsibilities

      • Turning high level marketing strategy into actionable plans for the business, liaising with the team, freelancers and suppliers as necessary. Contributing to our marketing strategy, including ideas generation and planning
      • Coordinating events, including liaising with speakers, promoting the event, managing ticket sales and the waitlist and follow up
      • Creating video content using Adobe Rush that can be shared across our social media platforms. Or else, briefing and QA a freelancer to produce the content
      • Writing website content, including thought leadership pieces based on interviews.
        Editing our HubSpot website, including adding blogs, web pages and workflows. Being the guardian of our website content.
      • Using Canva, Sprout Social and other tools to create, schedule and post across our social media channels - innovating on new channels and approaches as they evolve
      • Creating and sending out our monthly newsletter
      • Measuring the success of your work using the various tools available, using these measures constantly improve the work you do.

      The ideal candidate would have...

      • Minimum of 3 years marketing and/or events experience.
      • Have worked in an agency, marketing or sales environment. You’ll need to be deadline driven and used to working under pressure.
      • Confident and persuasive communication skills - you’ll be dealing with suppliers, potential clients and senior members of our team, so you’ll need to be confident and persuasive in putting forward your point of view
      • Excellent written skills with the ability to write short snappy copy for social or provide in depth and insightful blog content, with strong attention to detail and grammar.
      • Have experience using a range of social media management and content creation tools, including Adobe Rush, Canva and HubSpot.
      • Confident in editing websites, posting on social media, and growing engagement.
      • A wish to continue to work flexibly. You’ll therefore need to be self managing, willing and able to track your time and demonstrate results.

      Application process

      The closing date for this job is 9am on Tuesday 1 June 2022.

      The first stage in the selection process will be a 30 minute chat (on Google Meet) that will give us an opportunity to ask each other more questions, then if appropriate a longer interview which may include an activity and/or presentation. We won't make you do any free work though.
